As a kid I loved paint by number, but was always frustrated that the picture looked pretty cartoonish when I was finished. With a little ingenuity, I have been able to create paint by number on canvas from photographs!
The cute French Bulldog was adapted from a photograph and then turned into a pbn. (I do these by hand, painstakingly)
Part of our fundraising effort for our non profit animal rescue is a Paint By Number Paint and Sip! Such fun as the participants paint their own pet, a favorite flower, or scene. The results are spectacular! For our fundraisers we use pinks, blues, greys, and browns. This Frenchie was painted in the blue hues. I think it turned out very nice.
I use acrylic paint which is very forgiving and have found this set on Amazon that is not only very reasonably priced but also has decent brushes! I offer PAINT BY NUMBER kits of your photo on an 11 x 14 or 16 x 2 0 canvas. I will upload a few samples in the days to come with ordering information!
Paint by Number isn’t for kids anymore!
